Mel-Lynda Andersen
With an educational background in Arts and Journalism and more than a decade
of experience in the Vancouver publishing scene, Mel-Lynda Andersen provides
a range of writing, editing, production management and resource
co-ordination services. From initial concept and abstract idea through to
the printed page, she assists publishers, editors and business managers in
all phases of the editorial, design and production process. She has worked
as Editor, Managing Editor, Assistant Editor and Proofreader for a variety
of consumer, trade and special-interest publications; she writes magazine
features; she copy edits, proofreads and provides production management
services for publications and newsletters; and she has valuable experience
launching new publishing projects. Ms. Andersen has edited a number of
books, including Fly Fishing British Columbia, Mediterranean by
Cruise Ship, Caribbean by Cruise Ship, The Complete Cruise
Handbook and Alaska by Cruise Ship. She also has experience
writing and editing advertising and promotional copy, as well as developing
content for brochures, newsletters, display ads and Web sites.
